Daze of our lives...

All sorts of nonsense happens in the course of the day... good, bad, indifferent... whatever. Thoughts spring to mind, shit happens, things work out, but often don't... usually I have no idea of what's going to happen beforehand and perhaps its better that way. Anyway, just a little of what's going on and a way of clearing my mind... Read on at your own risk.

OK, not all that much to tell... just a slightly insane, very tired but reasonably perceptive guy who's life is filled with "why's" and never knowing why...

Happy Halloween

With Halloween almost upon us, Google is once again tying in very nicely with the theme, with a nice image to fit the occasion.

I'm glad they do this, just for the fun of it... here's another from 2003...

I know there's a page somewhere on the Google site, where all the variations on the Google theme are displayed, but I've never been able to find it... (although I haven't ever looked really hard :P)

Update: Liesl came up with the URL of Google's Holidays Logo Page for me, so I don't need to look for it any more. Thank you :))

This thing that they do with their logo on each special occasion is really amazing. Funny, relaxing, reminding people they have something to celebrate, all in all a great idea.

Halloween is pretty much an imported holiday here, so it is really meaningless for me. Yet I would like to wish Happy Halloween to all those who celebrate it.
