The annual Open Helderse Championships, an informal gathering of anybody here in the Netherlands who enjoys the rhönrad sport (also known as wheel gymnastics), irrespective of levels of competence or dexterity. It's just a fun day, watching the top-level performers, catching up on acquaintances, having a good time and perhaps learning a thing or two from each other.
Our club performed creditably, with one third place in the L4 division, which wasn't so bad considering we're still a relatively new club. Katie suffered an unfortunate fall, thankfully not injuring herself but dashing her chances of gaining placement in her L5 category.
Due to a malfunction on my portable hard disk, I lost some 300 photos of most of the morning programme which was great pity because there were one or two wonderful moments I was very happy with. No matter though, they're gone but the rest remains... take a look around and enjoy...
