The Gymnastics Club Championships----- April 9th, 2006 ----- Every year, the gymnastics club here in Hoorn organises a "club championship" so that the youngest members are able to demonstrate their proficiency and get to show off to their (grand-)parents, friends, family and anybody who's more than just a little bit interested. The Rhönrad team has provided a demonstration, as it has done several times during the last few years, to promote the sport in as eloquent and as fitting a way as possible, hoping to attract those interested in a totally different and very fulfilling variant of gymnastic sports. I've also written an entry in my weblog, a little more tangential perhaps but personally worthwhile... This year, I've tried to provide as fitting a record as possible, trying out the possibilities of my new digital SLR camera and letting the girls of the Rhönrad team stand in the spotlights in their own right, doing something they do so especially well...
