Kunama 1957

Hopalong Cassidy, 1957 version

As I jumped into my twenty-four cylinder Cadillac, I pressed the button and I was off with my six-guns blazing at the crooks, who had robbed "Fort Knox". They had made good their escape by using a Jaguar, which is a faster car than mine on the highway. As we chased Along, not going very fast, only about 150 m.p.h., I opened fire with my sub-machine gun and hit their back tyre. As soon as they stopped, they started to run up the hills, which surrounded the road. So I got my horse cut of the boot, packed some sandwiches and took along a bottle of "Scotch" in case I didn't catch them. Then I jumped into the mink saddle, spurred my horse and I was off. As I saw them I stopped my horse, pulled down my submachine gun and opened fire. Bullets were flying all around me, but I didn't care because I had my bullet-proof vest on. Then I cornered them and told them to stick their hands up. Next I took them back to the car and put them in the boot with the horse, the jaguar and the loot. I then took them to jail and received a million dollar reward. So, I sold my old Cadillac and bought a space saddle.
